My investigation will begin into researching by studying into a variety of design movements and see how I can transfer the qualities of shape, material, theory and form into hair and make-up.
Below is a timeline of well known design movements, I think it will be really interesting to study the evolution of shape and design has changed through the decades. This will also demonstrate the ability of researching specialist knowledge and identify the creative concepts for the unit. I definitely think I want to choose movements which are contrasting to one another so it makes each make-up look unique yet keep the context of certain elements similar such as the background of the same stylist to link the work as a whole.
